Of course the people don't want war. But after all, it's the leaders of the country who determine the policy, and it's always a simple matter to drag the people along whether it's a democracy, a fascist dictatorship, or a parliament, or a communist dictatorship. Voice or no voice, the people can always be brought to the bidding of the leaders. That is easy. All you have to do is tell them they are being attacked, and denounce the pacifists for lack of patriotism, and exposing the country to greater danger.

Sound like anyone we know?

A bunch of "pro-life" people were out showing pictures of severed heads, fetuses, etc. I know I can handle it, but I know there are people out there who get queasy. Obviously, the correct choice is "pro-choice".

One baby is not worth anything. Let me make that clear. A baby is 9 months of work. The parent is obviously more important, and society is much more important, consisting of thousands of years of work (30 something years of energy put into every working man). 9 months is nothing.

When is a person human?
True, a fetus is Homo Sapien when it is conceived. As per when people become humans... when they prove their worth.

Aren't pro-choice people killing fetuses?
Yes. So? Two cells is not "human". 300,000 isn't human either. Some people like to think of the fetus as an extension of the mother... not really. A fetus's DNA is comparatively different. Its another person, just one we can spare.

Don't you feel bad killing a person?
You have to understand the greater good. People that don't understand this are fools. If a suitable environment cannot be provided, needs cannot be fulfilled, the child is useless and will never be come a contributing person. Especially since non-educated, non-civilized, useless people tend to turn into criminals, we don't need that burden into society.

But there's a chance that a child in a bad environment might turn out good.
Sure, uncertainty is a fact of life. But do you want to take that risk? And how small is that chance?

According to your idea, useless people do not deserve to exist.
Precisely. I make an exception for the elderly because some have saved enough money to last them through that period in life. But in all honesty, elderly who depend on others, didn't have foresight to save money for retirement, should understand that death is a viable option [sic].
